The IIP is the Air Liquide International Internship program. Air Liquide proposes through this program 40 to 44 internships during the
summer time: 6 being in the USA (Houston) for French students, and 34 to 38 in
ternships being proposed in France (Paris & Grenoble) in the various AL entiti
es.
It is only dedicated to recruiting highest performing penultimate year stu
dents to offer them a first assignment abroad to ‘start’ their career within
the Air Liquide Group.
For the Air Liquide Group, this program is a pre-recruitment tool which se
rves 2 primary purposes:
1.Improve Air Liquide’s visibility and attract top students in our
targeted countries and universities worldwide. As this program has had very p
ositive impacts on enhancing Air Liquide’s visibility besides Career Fairs, t
he IIP has been repeated since 2002.
2.Constitute a reservoir of high level candidates by being a pre-re zhixo.com
cruitment for the START program or for local recruitment.
For the IIP students, this program enables them to have a first profession
al experience abroad, to develop multicultural contacts and networking among i
nterns and to discover the international dimension of our Group.
An IIP candidate is a student who has the following qualifications:
--Be a penultimate student (who will graduate within 1 year or within
2 years occasionally) in order to let them talk about their experience back i
n the universities: word of mouth
--Major in Engineering or Business from a top university recognized a
s being in the ‘top tier’ nationally or internationally
--Excellent academic record
--Fluency in English (average level in French is a plus)
--Strong interest in industrial activities1
--Excellent interpersonal skills
--International focus
--Autonomy, motivation and ability to adapt in a different context
